Tom Mathies Project Data Analysis and Reporting Coordinator
Dr. Mathies received his Ph.D. in Viviparity of Reptiles from Virginia Tech in 1998. Among his numerous research and conservation experiences, he has devised methods to control the invasive Brown Treesnake on Guam, radio-tracked rattlesnakes to wintering dens in Boulder County, monitored federally-endangered bird species across the Great Plains, investigated malaria-vector control in Kenya, experimented with head-starting northern leopard frogs for western U.S. habitats, and assists habitat restoration through noxious weed control in Colorado. He is well-published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and delivered presentations and posters to professional and public audiences. |
